How to Pixel Map WS2812B RGB LED Strips in Showxpress?

Postby gymclubdjs » 06 September 2019, 11:43

Hi All!

Since Showxpress only supports a maximum of 6 universes, is it possible to pixel map more than 6 x 5m ws2812b rgb led strips totaling 6 x 5m = 30m, 6 x 150 = 900 pixels, 6 x 450 = 2,700 channels of a maximum possible 3,072 channels (6 universes)? That's not a whole lot of realestate when it comes to pixel mapping.

There are numerous third-party artnet controllers made for pixel mapping 8/16 universes of rgb led strips, but they're of little use if Showxpress can only support a maximum of 6 universes.

Is there another way to pixel map a greater number of rgb led strips in Showxpress that I'm unaware of?

Kind Regards,

Gary
