ShowXpress Crashing

The ShowXpress software keeps crashing, we have tried 2 different computers with the latest software version (8.2.18 - 170313) and USB drivers. Both computers the ShowXpress software crashes after a certain time. It crashes every 9 minutes, this has happened on the current version of ShowXpress and the previous version.
I tried a different USB cable, different USB port, power cycled the Chauvet DJ 512 control unit and it still crashes and we have to reopen the ShowXpress software. Any suggestions or advice?

I'm having the exact same problem with ShowXpress crashing. In my case it's about every 15 minutes. Did you find a solution?

I finally found a solution to this issue guys... If your using a pc with a Nvidia card, update this to the newest release from 1-29-18.... it fixed 3 of my pcs doing so. hope it works for you guys as well.....
