XpressRack 1024 Not Fading Out Between Scenes

Postby dgeerchauvetcs » 29 August 2023, 00:09

Hello -

The XpressRack 1024 Not Fading Out Between Scenes. For Example;

Button 1, Zone 1 = White
Button 2, Zone 1 = Red
Button 3, Zone 1 = Blue

Press Button 1, Fixture Fades on White, Press Button 2, and White "snaps" off (like a light switch) and Blue Fades In.

Is there a way to get the lights to fade from one color to the next? Even putting the colors in 2 different zones does not solve the issue.

Any advice would be appreciated.

We do not have a "white, red, blue" fixture, so we made a test with a "red, green, blue" fixture.
The fade in standalone mode seems to work ok.
Here is our lightshow.
Please import it and compare with your lightshow.

I am not sure if I am explaining what I mean correctly.

The setup is Multiple fixtures set to a certain color on a certain button in Zone 1

Those same fixtures then are asked to change to a new color on button 2, same zone.

Instead of crossfading out, the first color just turns off and the second color fades in.

What I am trying to acomplish is this;

Press button 1, Fixtures Fade On to Color1 - Press button 2 Color1 fades out, Color2 fades in

This is what we have understood, and our standalone scenes do the crossfades.

Please send the fixture profile (.txt) of your DMX fixture ; we will try to adapt our ligthshow to it.
