How many Net512 can you use?

I am trying to use 3 x Net512 on my windows 10 pc.

But somehow i got multiple problems, and sometimes 3 universes are found, and if i restart Sweetlight, only 2 universes are found.

The software is supposed to drive up to 6 of them.
We already used 4 together, in a stand for an exhibition (https://www.facebook.com/sweetlight.con ... lJScKyZxUk)

Please check their MAC addresses are different.
If you are not able to do that, please send us the serial numbers of the interfaces by PM (we are able to check the MAC addresses with the SN numbers).

I believe the MAC adresses are different, i changed it with the program NET512_set_MAC. But maybe i made a mistake by doing it, i shall try it again tomorrow.

They do got a different IP adress, i have tried it with DHCP and even with static IP. Or shouldnt that be a problem?
To be certain: When i have set het Net512 on static IP adresses, a network switch should work right? Or does has to be a router?


One other thing i have noticed is that when i plug in the network cable, not all time do i see the network lights turn up. Sometimes i have to replug it in. It's with all 3 of them.

Static or dhcp is supposed to work.
But you have to use a router.
It is not possible to make conclusion with the network LED's activity.

I'll use the router and set the MAC adresses, if i run into problems, i let you know.

Last question, why can't you use ArtNet with Net512? Since you use a router if would be possible?

The interface Net512 is a dmx interface dedicated to our software.
It has nothing to do with Artnet.
