The Lighting Controller

I just found the ArtNet function. So my simple question is: How do you set it up?
I know that you have to enter the IP of the ArtNet/DMX Interface in preferences but do I also need my d512 for that? Do I have to create normal scenes and then enable DMX out to send it to the Interface?

When the software finds the interface D512, it is possible to send the 512 channels to the D152 interface and/or to the Artnet network.
