UDP to MIDI

Postby cmgmbh » 16 April 2020, 12:55

Does anybody know a way / software / interface that can convert UDP commands to MIDI commands - for example to control / start the lights by an external device that sends an UDP command when it is triggered?

The UDP command will be from an external device (i.e. Brightsign player). Imagine that this external device is triggered and then it should send an UDP command (or any other protocol / solution) to the computer and the computer should interpret it as a MIDI command to trigger a scene / timeline in QuickDMX.

You can trigger a live scene in the software using this TCP protocol : https://thelightingcontroller.com/viewt ... =72&t=4183
