Still no improvement. 8.1.30 still unable to execute MIDI commands. What's the next step?

It looks this problem is exclusively on your system, so we are searching what could be wrong in your system, but we have presently no idea.

We were expecting for some other users having a similar problem, in order to have more chances to understand, but not.

We changed the title of the topic, and we moved it in the section "Midi", in order it is easier to see by the midi users.

Please, try with this fix file (8.1.30.1) : http://download.thelightingcontroller.c ... ew/fix.zip

If it solves your problem, then your midi device only sends "Note-On" messages and no "Note-Off".

That worked! Now able to successfully 'learn' and 'launch' MIDI cues!

I recently started using TouchOSC to MIDI remote Chauvet ShowXpress. On initial setup, everything seemed to work well. Recently, I upgraded to 8.1.29 and am able to MIDI control the master faders, learn triggers, however when trying to trigger a scene, it won't actually engage the button. Please advise

Using 8.2.26 - 170908, with latest Fix on Windows 10 latest version.
loopMIDI - virtual loopback device (https://www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/loopmidi.html)
Proclaim to trigger MIDI signals.

MIDI logger window detects input signals correctly.
Learn button detects and correctly learns signals.
Live buttons do not trigger.

Have tried with Note on, Control change and Note On+Note Off signals. All are learnt successfully but do not trigger.

As the MIDI window is detecting events, and the learn button works correctly surely this is a bug in your software rather than driver issues, etc.? e.g. is there a background MIDI monitoring issue? What's the difference between the way the MIDI window and learn functions detect events and the button triggers detect events?

We double-checked and it works here.
So there should be something different in your setup.

Please post a link to download your lightshow, with a non working midi shortcut. We will check with your lightshow.
