v10 Release Updates?

What is the current status of version 10 beta?

We got at least a big part of the ICs ordered in year 2021.
That said, shortage is still existing, and delay for new purchase orders is more than one year ; but no worry for now because we have a quite big stock.
We will at least stop paying these ICs 10 times more than normal value for the next productions.
We can now work on the future DMX interfaces which have to be ready for the new software.

In the meantime we made some nice videos necessary to use new software, and we are still improving it.

When making the videos, we recently saw that the UX will be much better with one switch and one button in another location in the GUI, so a part of the done videos is already obsolete and we have to redo them.

We are working hard.

Will the new interfaces support an AC adapter as an option so they don't rely on USB power?

Is an approximate release date exists and does the new software have the following features:
- Touch-optimised workspace, for example in live mode when changing tabs.
- Does the scene programming editor also support hardware midi faders? For example, it is easier to position MovingsHeads by using hardware faders instead of the mouse and the digital fader.

Yes for "touch-optimised workspace".

Scene programming via midi faders is not done presently.
Please note that the space for channel programming (the black area) is 70 to 80% bigger than in V9. We hope that this will give you enough confort to program with the mouse.
That said, if we still get several complaints for that later, then we will think about it.

+1 for midi control on programming moving heads.

I would love to see a physical USB controller made by you guys as a hardware option.

One with a joystick would be amazing.

A board with 8 faders and 16 or more buttons. (Maybe layers to get even more)

Even with bigger black area to setup moving head it’s still with the mouse …
