The Lighting Controller

Hello everyone,
First and foremost, I started using SX back in about 2003, but took a break from it for the last 10 years or so... With that in mind, I still have my "box" SX DMX controller that still seems to function just fine with the latest version.

My question is:
Is ShowXpress still a good piece of software that is being updated regularly? I understand that with COVID, many things have slowed down, I just have not seen too many tutorial videos on YouTube about the software and that the software itself does not seem to have been updated since January 2020, hence my question.

I am curious if I should invest the time to re-learn the software or move to something else. My preference would obviously be to re-learn it- but that is based on everyone's opinion.

That's indeed an interesting question. I also would like to know how the future likes for the software.
Can we expect major updates for example?

We are working on the next new major software version.
We target to release a first version of the new major software at end of Summer period.

We try to save the maximum of our time for this new project, so V9 is less upgraded.
Your 10 years old interface will work with the new major software.
