BPM via the PC instead of the lights?

Postby mbaker33 » 22 March 2018, 19:35

Hey guys,

Been posting a lot in here as I've been playing around with some more advanced functions within SX. I am just curious if the BPM works based on what the lights here (I understand they have microphones build in) or based on what the computer hears? And if it is based on what the computer hears, I assume I could run a cable from my sound board to the computer to make a cleaner system for lower volume songs or whatever?

Thanks,

Mark

The sound analyse comes from the output of the "Windows Audio Mixer".

Yes, you can totally do that. It tends to work better but not in all cases. I have tried it on multiple occasions and it works 95% of the time, I can't tell you why it wouldn't work the other 5%.
