Open ShowXpress without loading a show?

Postby mbaker33 » 21 March 2018, 15:25

I am wondering if it is possible to allow ShowXpress to open, but not have it open the previously loaded show. We've had some people become confused with the switching of shows, so I was hoping to just force it to be open generic, and force them to open the show they are looking for from the list. Any ideas?

Sorry but this is not possible.
The software always opens with the previously loaded lightshow.

Couldn't the software be programmed to open the "Open Lightshow" screen on launching the software?

Thanks for the feedback. I understand this is not currently possible. However, the program could very easily be programmed to have an option to either open the previous show OR load the default show (which could be set by dropdown box) OR prompt for the show to open.

I actually am a developer for my day job, I just do lighting gigs on the side for my friends bands and my church. It would take a hack of a developer 45 minutes to code such a function, a good one could do it in 10 minutes.
