V8 - Fixture strobing (and works fine in V7)

I have a Chauvet 6spot (not irc model). Profile was provided by Milak. The profile works properly in v7.1.80 but does not in v8.1.2. Each version is running on its own computer.

When selecting any color from any individual pod, it will strobe twice then pause and continue this in the same loop. If you select any of the programmed functions, they all strobe following the same sequence as above.

I have tried to recreate the strobe channel as a dimmer channel only and the issue still resides. The fixture has been removed from the entire chain of other fixtures and made to be a standalone fixture both with and without a terminator and the issue still exists.

Can you guys see if you can figure out a solution as I really hate to remove this fixture at this time as I do not have another fixture to put in its place.

Can you please:
- post your lightshow
- tell us the name of the fixture having a problem in your lightshow
- tell us your OS (Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 32bits or 64bits ?)
- tell us your dmx interface model
- if possible, a video might help us to fix faster that problem

Issue has been resolved. Steps taken......

Removed xpress 100 dongle and replaced with xpress 512 box.
Added data stream controller
put rogues on own data path
put Blizzards on own data path
put quad 7's on own data path
put 6spot on own data path

ShowXpress version 8.1
OS Windows 10 64 bit.

I am quickly finding out that showxpress plays a lot nicer with the better quality products. Lesson learned is to export your shows regularly as when V8 crashes and won't come back on line without a fresh install, it makes life much better.

Thank you for your response to the issue. Got many years of IT troubleshooting so working through all of the little quarks are part of the challenge to learning the software.

Next time this happen, please post your lightshow and explain how to reproduce ; we will check it.
