Please post (or email) your lightshow.
We will check that.

It does not crash here (with V8.1.2 available in the V8 fix file).
But we found buttons linked to non existing scene files (spots_odd:even, allwit, ..., rood, ..., prisma, ..., wit). It is possible that such buttons make an older version to crash.

Please try with the fix for V8.

You certainly have a corrupted ".sce" file somewhere in your LightShow and the software displays this message when trying to convert it to ".scex" file.
In addition, can you try to deactivate the "Preload Live Scene" in the Preferences ?

It is a new information for us that the program craches. If you are ok, we are going to send you a new EXE file who displays which file name causes this "Unsupported file format".

Please try with this fix (V8.1.4) (http://download.thelightingcontroller.c ... are/V8/new).
You should see some more informations about the problem.
Please let us know what you see.

Oops, there was a bug in our Fix file, you must see a file name (and not a memory address).
Support will send you soon another fix file who displays the file name.

Otherwise, you can try to add the line "CONVERTSCEFILES = no" in the "[Other]" section of your "param.ini" file to deactivate the auto-conversion process of V7 scene files.
