Hi

I know how to do that, and that's what we do - however, we can't open the lightshow as we can't open the software!!

- go in folder "home directory/TheLightingController/"
- edit the file "param.ini"
- find the line "PROJECT = ..."
- delete this line, and save the file
Then the software will run ok, with an empty lightshow.

Caution: just in case of, we suggest you to make a backup of the file "param.ini", before you modify it.

Hi

We don't appear to have param.ini file anywhere on our system, either in the ..../TheLightingController directory or anywhere else ?

Please see response from on site technician re. editing the param.ini file -

I have applied the latest fix from the support forum and……….IT WORKED!

I now have ShowXpress open on the 11-Ents Account and have managed to reload the Trecco desk and it seems to be working ok.

The only issue is that I cannot open the desk from the lightshow folder I have had to open it from a back up I have in another folder. If I move the back-up into the lightshow folder and try to open it then it crashes the software again.

But the main thing is that the software is open and working ok……………for now.
