In serious need of help with timing with a song

Postby Dherman » 24 January 2023, 02:48

So I am very new to this Xpress Lighting Controller program, lemme start with that. I have instructed by my father to help program all the lights he has for his Iron Maiden cover band. I am trying to figure how to time the song 'The Wicker Man' perfectly. I am struggling with this, like I am using Audacity to get the amount of seconds of a certain part and add it to a step. Like there has to be an easier way to time the lights to a song right? Because this is getting very tedious and I've looked all over YouTube on how to time these lights to a song. If anyone has some idea how to do this, PLEASE help me!

Fairly easy mate: you're in the wrong section of the software. You shouldn't be using Steps Mode, you should be using the Timeline

Are there any good tutorials I can look at to learn how to use timeline?
