I agree, having a visual indication for fade in/fade out before or after the scene makes sense and is very welcome!

Hi,

I am not sure how active this thread still is, but I'd like to make two wish requests for the timeline feature.

It would be nice if the following features would be added:
- master dimmer value (and if possible also a curve), such that master dimmers can be directly operated from the timeline feature.
- scene step indicator, similar to the live control, where a scene progresses to a new step after hitting the 'step' button. I would be a nice addition to have next to the bpm button.

Many thanks!

Hi. I've seen and downloaded the last version 9.3.8
But don't really see any big differencies.
From a visual point of view.

Where can we have the list of what has evolved ?

Thanks

But what about all the ideas and feedback you asked here about timeline ?
It doesn't seem that the last version of the software evolved with some of or wishes ?

This is for the next big major software version (not V9).

What about a software Jog Wheel?

I find it hard to put something exactly on a timeline. It would be nice if you could scroll with a jog wheel to find the correct frame in the video to place a scene.

It could ask a lot of CPU power, so maybe it could be limited to proxy video's with low resolution.

For future release, really need to sort the sync issue, driving me mad to the point of looking for other software.

You insert a Wav, place a few scenes, play it back and it's out of sync, play it again, it's in sync, once more 'oh it's out of sync again...'

Version 7 was fine, version 9 it's not, what changed?

An UNDO button, can't believe we don't have one, surely it's capturing the stats into a buffer and restoring these if the an 'undo' is done?
Times I've moved a load of scenes together and something has gone wrong and it's placed it in the wrong place, so have to manually move everything again, very frustrating...

Finally a record key button, forget the beat detection, it doesn't work on certain machines.

Be great to select a scene where you may have a light sequence.
press record and as the audio is playing you can either tap 'spacebar' or some other keyboard key and it places the scenes directly onto the timeline, preferably with an 'undo'

Even play through a scene and it records it, so if you want to pan through a sequence of lights in a scene, you press a key in real-time and it captures this live onto the timeline.

Would massively speed programming up, imagine wanting to add a simple light flash to a beat of a song, takes as long as does to listen to the track.
