Screen Control not moving to Secondary Monitor

While trying to run a show Screen Control has stopped projecting to a secondary monitor, but also, the actual application window on the taskbar was just a big grey square, and not what was supposed to be running in the timeline.
I also couldn't get the screen control window to actual open in general, it would only come up at the bottom on the task bar.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
