When using version 9 Showexpress Beta software the steps are as follows.
1. In Live mode select the Timeline tab
2. Using the cursor hover over the Audio Timeline bar.
3. Right Click and select "add media file"
4. A new window opens which allows the user to select the files to load.
(Refer to Screenshot of my MacBook: In this window if you scroll to the Media/Music Selection the right portion of the window states "Open iTunes to Populate this list". Even with iTunes open as you can see from the screenshot attached, the list does not populate.)

If you select a different method to load a music file such as viewing the Documents folder then going to the Music Folder, The Showexpress software will find the music file and operate correctly.

I found that with an Apple Music subscription due to the copyright on the files you cannot use a downloaded (borrowed) music file. You must purchase the music and then download the file. Once purchased the copyrighted file can then be used in Showexpress. Because of the more frequent use of services to obtain music it should be mentioned.

Our software just sends the following message to the OS: "open the load file window".
Then the OS decides about the content you will see in the window.
This is apparently beyond our control.
Sorry for that.

If there is a MacOS iTunes expert in this forum (our iTunes knowledge is limited), please give your light on this.
