Midi trigger and full screen video

Postby Jeffluminais » 19 September 2017, 02:48

Hello everyone,
Very new to showxpress, learning it slowly. Here is my question. I play in a band and we are using this software to automate the light show and video we show as we play. I plan to use a midi code as a cue to start each song. Normally the songs are in a certain order but sometimes we have to skip a song or two OR maybe go back to one we skipped before. Is their a way to do this?
Also, when Im outputing video to a projector. How do I get only the video to feed to the projector without any of the program screen being fed to it?
Thanks,
Jeff

A midi message can trigger a button in the tab "Live - Buttons".
The button can run a light scene, a media file, or a timeline.

How do I get only the video to feed to the projector without any of the program screen being fed to it?

- right click in ScreenControl and select the menu "Properties"
- check "Screen mode" and select the correct screen (\\DISPLAYx) in the dropdown list
