Live is able to play only one audio file.
A video file contains a video track and an audio track, even if there is no sound. This is why the video file stops another audio file.

Sorry, but not true. As stated in my original posts and other posts of mine in things I do, I can play an audio file and still play a video file at the same time with both audios going. This allowed me to play a main scene music and still throw in sound effects. Now this works with buttons.
If I turn on Timeline, it cuts out any audio I may have going ( even if there's not any audio or video on the timeline ). It's like it resets/sets up the players in case there is something to play. I have even tried to disable the media lines on Timeline but it hasn't worked.

Yes, you are right: one audio button + one video button in Live>Buttons play two audio tracks.
Sorry for this mistake.

Checking TimeLine, and come back to you later.

With the present code, there is no other choice than a timeline asks the media player to stop playing any existing file.
We take note of this, but we do not see any easy (fast) solution to change that.
Sorry for that.

Ok, so converting the songs to .MOV instead of .WAV has stopped the problem of shows stopping

Thank you "medbi" for this feedback.

This is the first time we hear that the OS media player works better with .mov files than with .wav files.
Weird indeed !

Anyway, happy to see your problem is fixed.
