"snap" at button on and "fade" at next loop [fixed]

Hi

I looked in the forum for fade Szene but I don't found an existing entry for my topic.

If I configure new fade scene (for example LED par fading from R to G to B and start from the beginnen) and use this in live view, then when pressing the button the scene fades from black to the first step. I'm looking for a solution, that this is skipped. In Live view no Fade in/Fade out is activated. So I expect, that when I press the Live button that the LED par shows red 100% and then fading from red to blue and so on is processed.

Exists such a possibility?

Thanks
Bernhard

In tab Steps, for each channel, it is possible to adjust the fade/snap state for each step.
You can set "snap" only at first step, and "fade" for the next steps.

Hi,
Thanks for your feedback

I already know the possibility to modify within the scene step and fade. As already mentioned, I want to use only fade steps in the scene. But If I start the scene in live show there could be a feature, that the first step in the scene will be executed without fading.

My use case is that I configure Moving Head fade show. First the show is off. Moving head are in home position. If I start now the fade show the moving head turn on light and move from home position to the first position. Then the moving head execute the programmed positions. But I want to avoid the first move from home position to step 1. The behaviour should be similar like switch off the scene in live view. It stops immediately. And switching on the scene should also be immediately - continued by fading step show.

Is it possible to improve this behaviour?
Thanks

add one step
copy the first step to the last step
set the first step in snap mode
set the other steps in fade mode

Hi

Yes this Workaround helped me. Probably the behaviour could be improved in further versions.

This is not a workaround.
Like this, you can set all snap/fade possibilities.
