Request - Macro Exception [done]

Postby muscanto » 10 December 2018, 16:44

Can you please add a Macro Exception option for scene buttons? It would be very useful for buttons that should never be part of a Macro.

I will often edit my Macro buttons mid-show and I find myself accidentally adding scene buttons that are always on to my macros buttons. (Oops!)

This is an excellent and useful suggestion. I have a button that is on 24/7 and exempt from release all buttons. It homes and preps all my fixtures when nothing else is going on.

But when I do a mid-show Macro edit my "Master Home" button gets included, or I have to remember to take it out, before I update the Macro, and then turn the Master Home button back on. If the option suggested was incorporated I would certainly give my Master Home Button - Macro Update Exempt.

Thank you Support! I was meaning to revisit this request because I had this issue come up recently in a show I was doing. This will be a fantastic addition :)

Thank you Support. I got it and have already put it to good use, and it works perfectly for me.
