The Lighting Controller

Another one of those "I had this working before..." questions; I have some buttons that when pressed, fade up slowly even though the fade in and fade out options aren't checked on the button right click menu.

Can some kind soul advise how I can turn off that fade up pls?

Try checking the first step of the scene, maybe some channel are in fade mode (see the "line" icon below each channel fader in the editor). If you click that icon the channels will switch to snap mode
