Massive delay with buttons

Hi, Updated to latest version of Sweetlight 8.1.29 on Windows 10

Clicking on any of my buttons to play a timeline, there now seems to be a huge delay I'm talking 17 seconds or more before a track and light show starts???

Didn't used to do this, doesn't make any difference if Audio is in .MP3 or .Wav still the same delay

It seems to take an age just loading or saving the files out in Timeline as well, again it never used to do this.

Windows is perfectly stable with no other problems.

any ideas anyone?

Please send your lightshow, with at least one audio file.

The delay here is a bit more than 1 second, which is normal du to the quantity of scenes in the timeline.

Please confirm your lightshow is stored in the same computer where the software is.

Please make these two tests and let us know the delay:
1. same timeline without the audio wave file
2. new timeline with only one scene and with the audio wave file

Let us know also more about your computer (Operating System, processor, ram, ...).

Tested as you suggested

Same Timeline without Audio Wav file, exactly the same delay

Same Wav Audio file with a single scene, almost instantaneous

Seems loading these few bytes worth of information is taking an age to actually load.

Windows XP, 7, 8, 10 ?

Please confirm again that your lightshow is stored in the same computer than the software is, and it is in the folder: "home_directory/TheLightingController/LightShows/".
We ask you again to confirm again this, because we saw that there is an extra delay when the lightshow is stored in another system and require access via Ethernet.

Please try also with the option "menu > Preferences > Main > Live > Do not preload Live scenes", and let us know the delay.
