Live.ini File [fixed]

Postby Pink LD » 26 August 2015, 18:14

Support,
As you know I have been under the hood of my Live.ini file and I have a question about how Macros are presented. Here is one I would like you to look at:
macro = ds split wash 1@2|ds split wash 2@1|1 250 1-6 Colour Presets@1|99 1-6 Dimmer Preset@5|0 1-6 Presets@1|Y Sky|1-6 Strobe Preset|GP1 ORG|GP2 YEL|GP3 RED|US Even Odd Merge #1|
Preset@6|Gobo LR@3|0 1-6 Presets@1|Y Sky|Prism ON 1-6|1-6 Strobe Preset|GP2 ORG|GP3 RED| =

A the end of the string is an = sign. What is that for? What does it represent? It doesn't show up very often but I have seen it at least a dozen times so for. Any ideas?

It is supposed to never have any sign "=" at the end of such line.

I found about 4 erroneous = signs at the end of Macro strings. They are all fixed now.

Turned out to be a whole lot more of those = signs in the middle of Macro strings. But it seems they were identifying strings with bad/corrupted data in them. As I look back at the example I used I can see where the missing info is.

So now I have finally gotten thru the entire Live.ini file as well as having gone thru the entire show.

The only thing I am having problems with now is when I add or delete a page. I have to test it further but it definitely leaves unwanted remnants behind that will again cause problems in the futire if I don't keep up with it by hand editing the .ini file.
