[V7.1.23] Child Window Problems [fixed]

Postby Pink LD » 30 November 2014, 01:34

I am updated to ver 7.23 (Nov 27 ver) on a Win 8.1 machine.
I am having problems with the Child Window. I can maximise the window, I can resize the window? I can even close out the window, but I can't minimise the window like I normally do during shows. Any ideas?

It works a bit differently now.
You can hide it with the "cross" icon.
And you can show it via the main menu "window" (below "3DView").

I did figure how to hide it, but until I had a chance to read this I did not know how to get it back.
I'll have to check it out but I expect I wont like recalling it from a menu. As for today I reduced the window to as small as it would go and parked kt in the bottom left of my screen almost off screen and out of view. I could then recall it with one click when I wanted it.

Ok, I see how it works. It's alright, I primarily use the Child Window for my tablet remoted in to FOH PC for preshow onstage focuses and spot Macro updates. So its just an extra step to get to it, but I rarely do midshow Macro updates. If I am unhappy with a spot preshow focus during a show I just manually focus with my wing console and save it as a preset.
Thanks for the explanation. I consider this thread solved and can be closed.
