shared Channels - need explanation [fixed]

Thus we want to work more with Pixel tool we need some explanation.
We've created a Rainbow effect with 8 PAR64 LED Fixtures and watch it in 3D Window.
The problem: There's only light when the Dimmer Channels of the PAR's are programmed as extra scene.
Questions are:
How do we have to configure the PAR's in Pixel tool if
a) we want to have that Rainbow effect without the need of an extra Dimmer scene.
b) we want to have that Rainbow effect with the need of an extra Dimmer scene.
The PAR's are running in 7 channel Mode. Dimmer channel is 7.
Is it possible to do this with ""first" , "last" channel and "shared" channels??
See the attached file.
greetings from germany

Yes. The first channels is the number of channels before the rgb on dmx mode. Example dimmer rgb so first channels would be 1. Then you get the option of disabling the 1st channel, turn on, or turn off. All is done in pixel tab

This is fine but our PAR's have the following DMX Channel configuration
1 red
2 green
3 blue
4 effect macro
5 speed
6 mode
7 dimmer
First channel is ??? :o
Last channel is ??? :o

Set 0 first channels and 4 last channels.

Edit the "shared channels", and
- for #a: with the sliders, set the values to make the LEDs working with RGB channels (usually "dimmer" = 255)
- for #b: check the box "disable" for all shared channels

Perfect! This explains the shared channels. This explains why I was having a similar issue on some Matrix5 panels. I will try this soon and hopefully won't have to create a new thread! Thanks support!
