When starting up the QuickDMX software, sometimes (not always) the "pop up screen" keeps in the screen and the software freezes. Rebooting computer or rebooting software doesn't help. When I connect the laptop to wifi and then start up the Quick DMX software again, the failures doesn't appear anymore. What is causing the problem and what is the solution?

I don't think there are any reason for Quick DMX to be connected with the internet during start-up. OS = Windows 10, 64 Bits, always up-to-date with the latest updates... Quick DMX 512 dongle case (not the usb cable). Driver: EFK, 10-05-2022, 1.0.0.4.

At startup, our software tries to communicate with our internet server in order to inform you if a more recent version of our software is existing. When the communication with our server fails, our software simply skips that process.
