The Lighting Controller

I have installed the newer versions 8.1.15 and 8.1.29 on my Dell Laptop running Windows 8.1. Neither of them work. The lights just don't respond to anything. When I re-install version 8.1 they work fine. I have tried uninstalling before re-installing ,AND just installing over the top of the older version. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? Thanks!

We suggest you to make 3 clean installations, in 3 different locations.
Give for instance the following name for each installation: "softwareV8100", "softwareV8115", and "softwareV8129".
Then try each again, and tell us the result.
