Are the software files (light profiles, scenes, other specific files, etc.) all compatible to move from MAC OSX to Windows 7? Or visa versa for that matter?

Yes, you can use the function lightshow export/import from MacOS software to Windows software, and vice versa.
You can also simply copy/paste the lightshow folder.
