The Lighting Controller

I tried to load both Sweetlight and Showxpress on the same laptop and the ShowXpress wont load any of the fixture profiles I get an error for every light png file and that is a lot for errors to try to click through and if you dont click through it it will abort the install but if ou do click through them all the program Showxpress version wont see anything when you open it up. I even installed it in a seperat folder 5.2 folder 6,0 folder and a 6.2 folder. It looks like 6.2 over wrote 6.0 but thats ok I just tried that after it crashed. Any Ideas?


Sweetlight seems like its working just fine.

We have also all versions in one single computer, without any conflict.
Just do not mix V5 and V6 in same folder.
And do not forget to add the fix file, after installing V6.

If possible, please send us some screenshots of the error messages.

Do you have to lode the fix file to 6.2?
Im sure I have never loaded the fix file ...where is the link

First install the software.
Then copy the unziped fix file in the software folder.

Ok I did the fix and was able to load both Sweetlight and SowXpress to my laptop

thanks I didnt know about the fix I figurad if you did an update it would be in there. Do people need to load the fix for all versions or just the 6.2
......Also Just one more thing I will post it to a board if it dosent get fixed by th efix but I keep loosing fixtures from my groups say I have 30 pars and form time to time I after I make a group with all 30 2 or 3 just drop off so when I go to make a scine Im missing lights ...So I have to reselect the missing lights make a new group and start over .Was this fixed in the fix or is this a bug?\

We found and fixed a similar bug: when we made some changes in Setup after the groups were done in Editor, then the groups were corrupted in Editor. May be this was your problem, and it is fixed in the fix file.
If you did not make any change in Setup after the groups were done in Editor, this means this is a new bug. In that case, yes please post a new thread with as much details as possible for us to be able reproduce this bug.
