Virtual dimmer channel (dimmer for RGB)

Postby Bakkster » 04 September 2017, 18:29

Is there a way to create a 'virtual dimmer' which can be automated to act as a dimmer channel for 3-channel RGB fixtures?

You can assign the channels of the rgb fixture to one of the master faders.

I'm hoping to create a fixture that the software treats as 4-channel RBG+Dimmer, but gets output to DMX-512 as 3-channel RGB only? In other words, control a typical RGB LED tape as if it were a 4-channel fixture.

I'm having difficulty finding how to assign the master faders. Can they be automated with macros?

No.
The Master Fader acts over all buttons.
