The Lighting Controller

I have problems with my new rack interface.
the most of the times when i start up the interface nothing happens.
i must try several times Before i can get the unit to work.
What is the problem?
i have 2 rack and its the same problem with the other one to

- external or internal power ?
- with or without computer ?
- if computer, what operating system ?

nothing happens

- no "power" led on ?
- no dmx output ?
- no usb enumeration (no "ding dong" sound) ?

The Power led is on and the problem are with internal Power and Power from the USB from the computer.
Nothing happens when i press the programbuttons
I have to restart many times suddenly it works well and next time i Power up nothing happens .....
The firmware version is 10.7
There is no problem to connect to the computer and upplaod programs.

Please send us a ZIP file of your lightshow folder.
We will check that.

The DMX signal output is working and i can change programs whith the remote.
The buttons and indicator leds on the frontpanel are the problem sometimes it works and sometime not.

We are not able to reproduce the problem.
May be we could with your lightshow (?)

Otherwise, if the problem were only with one interface, we could say this might be a bad contact in the internal connector from buttons pcb to main pcb. But same problem with 2 interfaces looks not plausible.

In order to be sure this does not come from a lack of power, can you please tell us if the problem still exists by using the external power adaptor (with usb cable removed) ?

Please note also that the buttons work only around 5 seconds after power up (all stand alone functions work only after around 5 seconds).

There is no difference when I shift between USB and external Power adapter.

- at power on, if it does not work, it will never work until you try again to power off/on
- at power on, if it works, it will always work until the next power off/on

We are now checking some units from the same production, trying to reproduce this problem.
