Have you found something wrong on some other units?

No, we did not find any similar problem in our stock.

Please try these two last things (if possible):
1.
- open the casing
- you will find a cable from main pcb to front panel pcb (with 9 wires and 2 white connectors)
- unplug / replug them (you can remove the red glue)
(the reason of this is, in case of there is a bad contact in the connector)
2.
- try with a brand new power adaptor (any cheap 12V power adaptor from a supermarket will work ; no problem with polarity)

Again, your lightshow might corrupt the firmware ; so if we could check with your lightshow, this would be one more chance to find the problem .

If all of these still do not change anything, please ask your retailer for maintenance service.
(may be you can return only one unit, so we could check the problem while you still have unit)

Still discussing with electronic engineer.

Just in case of it would be possible for you to use an oscilloscope device, could you please do this, when the problem happen ?
1. open the casing (6 screws) (you will see 2 similar 24pins chips on the front panel printed circuit board)
2. tell us if you see activity in pins 1, 22 and 23 for each chip, when you press a flash button

This might help us to know where to investigate.
