FYI : After one week (7 days) running your LightShow through "Companion", we haven't encountered any crashes

Actually since making the below recommended changes, we haven't crashed either...

- "Software refresh rate": High
- "USB nap speed": Medium (or Low)
- “Software IP”: 127.0.0.1

Thanks!

Another thing that could cause crashes is an underpowered DMX interface.
A solution in this case is to connect the interface to an external power supply (if the interface allows it), or to connect it to a powered USB hub.

Thanks, switching to external power, after being stable for 3.5 weeks it crashed twice last night (the 1st crash produced 3 dumps for some reason), and again today. In all cases no inputs/changes were being sent/made.

Attached the logs...

Also experiencing random crashes and unable to move faders back down in programming with mouse after they reach value 255...oddly using 2 finger gesture brings control back. Also receiving crashes when using the live mobile app with iPad. Could this all be M1 related as I see the OP is an M1 user as are we. Shows seem to be much more stable on the intel versions of the macs we use.

Yes. it's the latest fix files for all. The problem seems to be worse in quickDMX if that is any help

Also the crashes are not just with the M1. Super frequent now on intel iMac 2018 when programming with visualiser and D1024 plugged in. It seems to happen less when the interface is not attached. I attached it for testing purposes

FWIW... While still having random crashes once in a blue moon with 9.2.38, 9.38 crashes more frequently - usually within the week - I've tried rolling with it twice now, and by Sunday morning it's crashed several times, so we go back to 9.2.38.
