Timeline with MAC?

Postby dustinwarrenanderson » 03 September 2013, 04:49

I am trying to make use of Timeline and can't import a song without it overwriting the previous. Same issue with scenes.

I have looked through the forum and manual with no luck. Is it an issue with the MAC version?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

TimeLine is same for MacOS and Windows.
It can play only one media file at a time.
It can play several scenes simultaneously.

Thanks for responding.

I would like to string a row of songs and scenes but it sounds like Timeline will only play one song at a time. Is this what you are saying?

We suggest you a page of "timeline" buttons, with page option "chaser", in Live-buttons tab.

That looks very promising....

Now another question....

I can load the audio and light scene into Timeline and it starts out fine with all my cues hitting perfectly then it stops doing what I programmed.

I also can't get it to play from Buttons when saved as a timeline. The audio track is a WAV...

The audio file is not saved into the timeline. The timeline just start the audio file with the light scenes.

Select "Add timeline button" in the page popup menu, to get timeline buttons.

Wav file is the best for timeline, because no additional cpu lag for audio decoding (like with mp3).
