syncing with timeline & editor.

This might seem like a dumb question but when working in the editor page with a scene that is intended for timeline playback and sync'd with an audio file.

Is there any way of getting the audio track to playback within the editor which would make scene step timing and programming alot easier?

My question relates to a sound fx / ambient scifi type intro where I'm using washes, flashes & strobes to emphasize the changes in the audio file.

Sorry but, Editor is not linked to the audio track.

Please note that, in TimeLine, it is possible to add "yellow marks" (keyboard: ctrl + m) in the fly, while playing the audio file. This should help you to set important time points.
