Some mp3 files are not played [Windows]

Why (just for your knowledge):
Live/TimeLine plays the media files via "DirectShow*" (and its codecs*). Due to recent change in Windows®, "Windows Media Player" does not use anymore "DirectShow*" for MP3 files (while it still uses "Directshow*" for other media files). This is why, now, some files can be played by "Windows Media Player", but they can not be played by Live/TimeLine (which is using different codecs*).

* Directshow: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DirectShow

Solution:
When this happen, you have to install an extra codecs pack.

We suggest to install "K Lite Codec Pack": http://www.free-codecs.com/k_lite_codec ... wnload.htm.
During the install, you must check the codecs "MP3" (or check "all audio").
And do not forget to uncheck the proposed "toolbars" (not necessary), if you do not want them.
