Short tutorial

Hello, my name is Brandon. Aka Joystickme
And I’m going to tell you something about how to make a timeline in Sweetlight.

First, open your sweetlightcontrolboard.

Second, Look for a song you like.

Third, patch all fixtures you would like to use in the, “setup” mode
also give them a place in the “3d view” mode

Then, open the “editor” and the “live” modus.
And Now in the “live” window switch the tab to “timeline”

Now, place the song by right clicking on the audio timeline.
And select “add media file” from the pop-up window.

Add your song there

then, you listen to the song you think about a light sequence you like.
For example if the song starts with a siren like sound. You think of red lights.
(if you can’t make a light sequence(chase) with the editor, I suggest you take a look at these tutorials first)
http://www.sweetlight-controller.com/in ... b=8&page=6

When, you made your chase save it! And go to “live mode” again and right click on the black area where it says “light scene timeline” it doesn’t matter on which one. And say “add light scene” in the pop up menu.

Finaly, compose the light and scenes (and if you like video scenes) by dragging and shortening them (movie maker like). To a perfect harmony. Fill it up as you want to. It’s your show.

I hope some of you learned something with this short tutorial.

If you have a question about this please send them to me I will be glad to help you with them.
This is a basic tutorial. If I get many questions about the same object I will expand it or maybe make a video of it.

I will post an example of a large timeline on this page in a couple of days im still working on it.
And i will put it up for download for the ones who would like to have an example.

So keep looking at this post. if you want it.
