DMX going to zero when clicking buttons in solo (v5.2)

Postby genlitepro » 21 May 2010, 12:55

I primarly use live to do cue stacks in live concert production, where I have each page dedicated to a specific song. In doing this I keep all buttons solo so I can step through the song as my band plays. the problem is sometimes (about 25% of the time) when I click the next button in the sequence, the dmx signal apparently goes to zero, or disappears. This only lasts for a split second, but long enough to be very noticiable. I can eleminate this by turing off the solo, but this messes with the htp channels (keeps the higher dmx value up) as well as adds to my demands when running through fast paced sequences, as I have to manually turn off the previous scene. Is this a software issue or a processing speed issue? My computer well exceeds the min. os requirements. By the way, this "glitch" also shows on the 3d.
