Chauvet FXPar 9 newbiw question

Hi group
I'm rather new at this. I have 4 Chauvet FXPar 9 ver 1 fixtures. I'm using ShowXpress sw on Windows 11 and a Feenteak cable USB to DMX interface.
When I select 6, 9 or 23 channels on the fixture the address selection starts flashing. If I select an address number and press enter on the fixture nothing changes, still flashing.
When I create something on ShowXpress, the fixture doesnt react.
My first thought is that I'm not specifying a channel on the fixture properly.
Possibly I have a defective cable interface?
I've tried 2 different PCs. One with windows 10 and one with windows 11.
Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place.
Thanx in advance....

Pretty sure that showxpress only works with Xpress boxes and not a ramdom usb dongle xd

Okay, thanx, that's good to know. Can I assume that the blinking address # on the fixture would stop when I made a selection and was using a proper interface?
Is there an economical version of of one of these interfaces?
Would this be compatible?

economic = hardware only (no software, no technical support, no free DMX fixture libraries, ...)

Our DMX interfaces are here: https://thelightingcontroller.com/viewt ... t=5#p26389

Ok, it appears that the only way I can connect these fixtures to my pc is with a $300-$400 interface module. :(
