Input on dmx console needed please.

Hello,
I've been using showexpress about a year now, and would like to be able to control my main fixtures using a regular dmx console with sliders,
and use showexpress on a windows 7 laptop for effect lighting. This will give my left hand more to do than just hit an occassional key.

It appears that I can chain from the dmx desk to the box and then to the fixtures, and get the control that i want. (someone please correct me if I am wrong)

I would like recommendations for the dmx console to purchase. I would like to control a total of 24 par cans with it.

Correct, if your interface has a dmx input.

So far, the recent dmx consoles (even the cheap models) are supposed to be ok with our interfaces.
