IR data not being received [fixed]

I've got an Xpress-512 Plus with the remote and it is no longer triggering internal scenes. It worked fine for about a week then the IR data light on the Xpress-512 Plus stop displaying a flicking and will no longer respond to any remote signal. The IR remote is sending and is working. Can this be fixed with a firmware update or something similar?

Can you please:
- tell us the serial number of the interface (white sticker on casing)
- send your lightshow

We do not see any problem in the lightshow.
We are not able to retrieve your serial number (standard SN have more digits), so we just consider your firmware is the latest.

Are you able to drive the dmx outputs with the computer via Editor ?
Can you try to reload the standalone data ?

Yes computer works when hooked up. Tried reloading data many times with no difference.

We suggest you to double check with another universal remote controller (set to "Philips" code).
If the IR led still not flash, please return the interface to the retailer for maintenance.

Tried with a pre-programmed universal remote and also verified that IR light is being emitted from the remote control and the Xpress-512 Plus IR data indicator light is still not registering that it is receiving a signal.

This number is not the number we need.
If you run the software under Windows, you could see the firmware version in the title bar of the "Standalone" window. The latest firmware version is 106. We do not think a firmware upgrade will fix the problem, but it is always better to try.
If you tell us the firmware version, we will explain you how to upgrade (the upgrade operation requires Windows OS).

I've loaded up the software in Windows XP and the version is 106

So you have the most recent firmware.
The IR led not flashing means the interface is certainely brocken (this is first time we meet this problem).
Please return the interface to the retailer for maintenance.
