X Factor Power Adapter [fixed]

This is a question for anyone that owns a Chauvet X Factor.

What power adapter are you guys using? Website says 12v 500ma. The X Factor has printed 9-12v 300ma +)- or -)+. The printing on the X Factor has me confused. I would think it matters if the center input is + or -. What brand & model of adapter works for you guys?

Thanks for your time.

Voltage - 12V (regulated voltage is not required, because the interface internally regulates the voltage)
Amp - min 300mA (or more)
Polarity - +)- or -)+ (it does not matter, because the interface internally auto adjust the polarity)

In other words, the cheapest 12V power adaptor available in a supermarket will be suitable for this interface.

Thank you for such a fast reply!

I was able to go to the local Batteries Plus store, bought a Powerline Universal 3-12V 600ma adapter. Used the second largest tip ( It comes with many). Lined the positive mark with the tip mark. Set the voltage on 12. Plugged it in and all is good!

Also lining up the negative mark with the tip mark also works.

The adapter cost $12.99 US.

I wanted to post this for anyone else looking for an adapter for their X Factor.
