Converting .scex back to legacy .sce

Is there a way to convert a .scex (new) scene back to the .sce (old) format?

I have the Box interface, but when I try to upload my .scex file to it, I receive an "Unsupported file format" error message. I assume converting to an .sce file would fix the problem.

Thanks!

Isn't the box upload scene not supported after V6? You can still get V6 for uploading scenes to box, I think.

Your topic doesn't address the question about uploading a standalone scene in a box.

Thanks for the replies!

I have the v6 Control Board, which lets me upload .sce files to Box.

Unfortunately, I started programming a new series of scenes in v8 before I realized there was a compatibility issue, so now I have several .scex files that I want to upload to Box.

I followed this topic ( viewtopic.php?f=70&t=4367 ) as directed, but it still saves as a .scex file. I tried having the file name end in .sce, but no luck.

So am I correct in understanding that there's no way for a scene created with v8 to be converted to a file format compatible with Box?
