If I look at all these faults and it is not a cable fault or box fault it can only be 2 other possibilities.
1 - Driver not the correct driver
2 - Incompatible usb 3 port.
I would suggest you try and install on an old machine with Win XP

Here exactly the same :-(

Sweetlight 512 box, always worked fine. A few weeks ago updated to windows 10 and the laptop doesn't recognize the box (0 universes found) and the box shows the standalone led.
DMX bargraphs are showing signal, only 1 light connected (2 diff dmx cables checked, 3 different usb cables, still nothing). Light works with another DMX controller so light is working...

Looks like there is some driver issue for the sweetlight box in windows 10 :-(

Anyone who has Sweetlight box working on windows 10 ?!?

I know it is a long time since I posted this, but I figured I best explain how I sorted the issue (which I did a long time ago. maybe in a galaxy far away, I cannot remember).
this unit does definitely need a USB hub to work. I actually ended up going through 3 or 4 before I was happy with one (and later found out that one of the ones I bought is synonymous with killing apple macs). after I had a good one running, my unit has been working absolutely fine. shame that there were no notes of it needing one anywhere where I bought it. :3
