Xpress 512 Refresh Rate

I know this has been talked about a bit. Is there a link to the flash upgrade for this box. I am having some issues with DMX lights flickering thru show express, it seems that the Xpress 512 outputs a refresh rate of about 30, while my hardware controller is much higher. Is there anything I can do to update this. I know there have been mentions made in previous post, just no idea how to make the upgrade.

The latest firmware does not increase the refresh rate.

If you tell us the serial number (15 digits starting with "313") of your interface, we will tell you your firmware version.

We are not able to find this SN.
This SN does not look like standard SN.
The SN is on a sticker located on top of casing.
The SN is a 14 or 15 digits number, starting with "313".

Hello Again. Still fighting with this issue. It seems that when I place a DMX tester on the output of the xpress 512 using Show Express that even a fixture set in static mode will have DMX value dropouts which casue a flicker in the light. My refresh rate in the software is set to high.
Note in previous post the refresh rate out of my hardware controller is higher than the software. I have tried Lucid software and their dongle and the refresh rate is higher also.
I am so used to how your sofware works, I don't want to change, but I am badly in need of consistency espceially in static uplighting sequences, this is my money maker.

We think "refresh rate" has nothing to do with your problem.
Wrong dmx values comes from another problem.

Can you please try with software version 7 (V7.1.12 + the fix for 7.1.15), and let us know if you still see these wrong dmx values ?

i donwloaded the fix foir 7.1.15, but can't seem to get it to install.
Note I have Show express 6 in c:\programfiles\showexpress
and Show express7 in c:\programfiles\showexpress7
The files in the fix don't seem to be install files am supposed to just copy them into a directory?

Yes, regarding the fix, you have to replace the EXE file (or the APP file under MacOS), in this folder.

Afterwards, when you start the program, you will see "version 7.1.17 ..." at the left bottom of the splash screen (the black screen with the RGB sign).
