Message "there is one incompatible device..." [fixed]
Posted: 18 November 2011, 05:21I was setting up a show yesterday with the DMX cable interface and was having trouble with receiving signal.
We were using a new laptop (Windows 7 - not sure which suite) so I installed Sweetlight 6.29 and the v1.04 drivers available on the Chauvet website.
We restarted the computer and then connected the interface and opened the Control board. But we got a message saying
"there is one incompatible device. Please remove it and try again." We spent half an hour trying to work out the problem, and couldn't find any solution.
Instead, we installed Show Express 6.27 and this is working perfectly.
Please help me find out what I was doing wrong, or if there actually was a problem. Will be able to give Windows version later today if needed.
