To find the faulty device

There are four major parts in your installation:
- the computer
- the software
- the dmx interface
- the dmx fixtures

When there is a the problem, it comes from one of these parts. To find it, we suggest you to proceed by elimination:
1. plug only one dmx fixture ; disconnect all other dmx fixtures and switch them all off. If it works well, it means there is a problem in the dmx line (ground loop, faulty fixture, ...).
2. make a new ultra easy lightshow, which moves one or two fixtures. If it works well, it means there is a problem with the software (lightshow corrupted, software bug, ...).
3. try with another computer. If it works well, it means there is a problem with the computer (virus, usb power, ...).
4. if possible, replace the dmx interface by another one. If it works well, it means the first interface is damaged.
