I'm trying to use a cheap USB to DMX512 adapter, everything is installed with other software and is working.
Assuming you don't support it the uDMX dongles what ArtNet Software is compatible with ShowXPress?

Do you allow support for ArtNet Software for Windows or just via those devices?

I'm trying to use a cheap USB to DMX dongle but I haven't found a way to use it with ShowXPress. If there is a way of doing it, that is what I'm trying to find out. Whether it can work straight out as DMX or having to use ArtNet Software on Windows to bridge between ShowXPress and the DMX Dongle.

In short I'm trying to find a way to use a cheap USB to DMX Dongle with ShowXPress, as we have no money to spend due to working with a community group, we could not afford the Chauvet USB Dongles

Understood.
Sorry, but it is not possible to control any fixture without having one of our interface.

What about the Chauvet ArtNet products like Net-X? Will it work with ShowXpress?

Thanks!

In that case, which ArtNet interfaces will ShowXpress work with? There aren't any on that page that are still available, and the ones that are available such as the D512 do not have ArtNet capabilities.

Our software sends Artnet via the computer Ethernet port.
You have to connect your Artnet lighting fixtures to the computer Ethernet port.
